Scott Peterman (American, b. 1968) will have an exhibition of new photographs at Silverstein Photography from March 18 - April 22, 2006. Moving seamlessly between landscapes, the photographs were taken in Death Valley, Iceland, Utah, Maine, Hawaii, Sao Paolo, and Mexico City.
Peterman’s devotion to the meditative and sublime allows him to pursue the conceptual and societal dialogue between technology, architecture, habitation, and nature. His works are crisp studies on the topographic remnants of human interaction with the land. Peterman’s conscious awareness of timing, geometry, and aesthetics produce an awe-invoking photograph and a contemplative yearning in the viewer.
Silverstein Photography is pleased to present the publication SCOTT PETERMAN published by Channel Photographics; advance copies available.
