This exhibition is the first solo show entirely dedicated to the artist's original Hungarian contact prints. Made by Kertész from 1913-1925, beginning when he was a teenager, these prints are a visual time capsule of his earliest work. This exhibition coincides with the artist retrospective André Kertész organized by the National Gallery of Art, currently on view at the International Center of Photography.
